  • Biomechanics
  • Cutaneous Examination

We have sophisticated computerized technology which allows us to accurately assess the condition of the feet and determine the most appropriate treatment modalities.

  • Vascular exams / Circulation Testing
  • Revolutionary Circular Boot Treatment
  • Microvas & Anodyne Therapy

Dr. Perlstein has added the Circulator Boot™ as a unique treatment for diabetic foot disease. The Boot increases the blood circulation to the toes which helps Dr. Perlstein to combat infection and to heal wounds. The Boot as a part of his treatment protocol helps Dr. Perlstein to keep his patients whole and active.

Participant of Medicare Diabetic Shoe Program

For eligible patients, we dispense extra depth or custom molded shoes and inserts to help prevent ulcers and infections.

Dr. Perlstein focuses on the unique foot problems of the diabetic patient. He has recognized that diabetes in New York is a major problem which robs many New Yorkers of their mobility; their toes, feet, legs and eventually even their lives. Diabetic foot disease is the number one reason for diabetic patients to be admitted to hospitals and many people (too many for Dr. Perlstein) wind up with an amputation due to unhealed diabetic foot wounds (85,000 a year nationally). His specialized care of the diabetic includes a full array of orthotics, braces and diabetic footwear.
